Automatic preservation and control mechanisms, daily generated backup copies, the retention of information on external and secure servers, are aspects that guarantee the security, strict and necessary use, of the personal data entrusted to us. Personal data may not, as a matter of principle, be transmitted. If there is a need to do so, for example, at the request of a subcontractor, ALVMAC-Álvaro Faria, Lda. will take the necessary contractual measures to ensure that these entities respect and protect personal data. They may also be transmitted to third parties – entities other than ALVMAC-Álvaro Faria, Lda. or subcontractors, examples of which are companies with which ALVMAC-Álvaro Faria, Lda. develops partnerships. In such situations, consent will always be required. They may also be transmitted to entities to whom the data must be communicated by law, such as the tax authority in contracting situations.
Personal data, after consent, is retained for as long as strictly necessary. If the holder exercises the Right to Forget about data that has a legal obligation to store, all and any use of the data will be suspended, but ALVMAC-Álvaro Faria, Lda. may only delete them once the legal deadline for their retention has been met.
